Swan Lake Park

Swan Lake is a pocket park with outsized charm — a small, spring-fed lake tucked into one of the prettiest residential stretches of Maple Ridge. The neighborhood around it is dense with historic homes, and the park functions as its shared front yard: dog walkers loop through in the morning, joggers cut over from Utica Square, and neighbors drift down after dinner to sit on the benches under the oaks.

The lake itself is compact, and you can walk the full perimeter in a few minutes. Real swans patrol the water, ducks work the edges, and the paved path stays busy without ever feeling crowded. Benches sit at intervals under mature trees, and the sightlines across the water toward the surrounding houses are part of the appeal — this is one of the few places in Tulsa where the park and the neighborhood really read as one piece.

This isn't a destination park in the Gathering Place sense. It's a routine stop — the kind of place you fold into a walk, a coffee run, or a quiet half hour with a book. If you're already in the area for brunch on Cherry Street or a walk through Maple Ridge to look at houses, Swan Lake is a natural pause point. Parking is on the surrounding streets, and the park sits close enough to 15th and Peoria that you can string a whole afternoon together on foot.
