Tulsa Performing Arts Center

The PAC anchors the east end of downtown at 3rd and Cincinnati, and it's the workhorse of Tulsa's performing arts scene. Four stages under one roof host Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Symphony, Chamber Music Tulsa, and the Celebrity Attractions Broadway touring series — meaning on any given weekend you could catch a full orchestra, a national tour of a Tony winner, or a chamber quartet in an intimate room, sometimes on the same night.

Chapman Music Hall is the main event: 2,365 seats and the room where Broadway tours land and the symphony plays. The other three theaters scale down from there, which is why the PAC can program a splashy touring musical and a small experimental piece in the same building without either feeling out of place. The brutalist concrete exterior reads cold from the sidewalk, but the interior warms up considerably once the house lights drop and you're settled in.

This is a destination stop rather than a walk-in — you're coming for a specific show, usually with a ticket bought weeks out. Pair it with dinner in the Blue Dome or Deco districts, both a short walk away, and you've got the standard Tulsa night-out formula that's been working for decades.
