The River Parks trail system is Tulsa's favorite way to move — 26 miles of paved and unpaved trails running along both banks of the Arkansas River, connecting parks, neighborhoods, and the Gathering Place into a continuous green corridor. Runners, cyclists, walkers, and stroller-pushers share the path with surprising courtesy.
The Midland Valley Trail section through midtown is especially scenic, and the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness area at the southern end offers single-track mountain biking and hiking with actual elevation change — a rarity in this part of Oklahoma.
