Philbrook Museum of Art

Philbrook is Tulsa's crown jewel — a world-class art museum housed in a 1927 Italian Renaissance villa set within 25 acres of formal and sculpture gardens. The permanent collection spans European Old Masters, American Modernists, Italian Renaissance works, and one of the finest collections of Native American art in the world.

But Philbrook's real magic is the grounds. The gardens — designed in the Italian style with reflecting pools, manicured hedges, and walking paths — are worth the visit even if you never step inside the galleries. Thursday evening extended hours and the summer concert series make this an experience, not just a museum visit.
