Centennial Park

Centennial Park is one of those midtown green spaces that quietly does its job without asking for attention. Tucked into the neighborhood, it's the kind of park you end up at repeatedly — walking the dog before work, letting the kids burn off energy on the playground, or getting in a lap on the loop when you don't feel like driving out to Turkey Mountain or fighting the crowd at Woodward.

The layout is straightforward: a walking loop, mature trees that actually shade the path in July (which is not a small thing in a Tulsa summer), a playground that pulls in families on weekends, and open space that gets used for pickup basketball and casual hangouts. Benches are scattered around for the low-effort version of a park visit — coffee, a book, watching dogs meet dogs.
