Florence Park Walking Loop

A half-mile paved loop circling the perimeter of Florence Park — flat, shaded by mature oaks and elms, and busy with dog walkers, joggers, and parents pushing strollers at any hour of daylight. The loop passes the tennis courts, the playground, and a community garden, with benches placed at regular intervals for people who prefer sitting to walking. Three laps equals a 5K, and regulars keep count.
