McNellie's is the bar that taught Tulsa what a beer list could be. Occupying a corner of 1st Street since 2004, it helped kick-start the Blue Dome revival with an improbable combination: over 300 beers, pub food that actually tastes good, and a patio that fills up the moment the weather cooperates.
The crowd is a genuine mix — after-work professionals, OU and OSU fans arguing amiably, first-daters, and regulars who've claimed the same booth for a decade. Upstairs, the whiskey bar El Guapo's adds another dimension entirely.
